Samurai Dika

I picked Thea up from daycare and evidently she had food in her hair earlier in the day. To help prohibit more pasta from winding up in her bangs the ladies at her daycare put her hair in what I could only describe as "John Belushi as a Samurai". We both got a kick out of her new do.

Thanksgiving trip to Salina

Thea spent her first Thanksgiving in Salina with both Grandparents where everyone ate entirely too much. While Thea had a festive time with all of her relatives and canine friends, she is still upset about the KU loss on Saturday night. Thea would like to forewarn Mizzou fans that the Jayhawks will get their redemption come Big 12 basketball play.

You never know what Thea might do. She might just wear her all denim outfit and rock a mullet.

If you haven't noticed, Thea's hair is a little on the crazy side lately. I.e. - the bottom picture of her in her rocking chair. And yes, I am a dirtbag mom and she did go to school like that with a little birds nest atop her head. I didn't have time to brush it....but at least her outfit looked cute! Stay tuned for some pics this weekend of her rocking out in her jean jacket with a slight hint of a mullet over the collar. It's kinda like John Black minus the mockturtle.

Trip to Chicago

Ivy and I went to Chicago for an extended weekend for Red Bull Art of the Can. It was good to get out of town and see our friends in the windy city. We got Thea a new outfit while in Chicago. While she looks pretty cute in it she doesn't seem too sure about her new boots.
