Mesmerized by the 'Munks

So a few weeks back Grandma Melvin got Thea Alvin and the Chipmunks to watch. I told Grandma immediately that she wasn't going to watch it. We don't get it. This kid doesn't sit still for anything. She can't seem to get enough of these chipmunks. Good for us I guess. I can honestly say I think in the last month I've seen this movie as much as I've seen Star Wars in my entire life.

Thea attempted several times to throw Lulu's ball to no avail. Lulu was neither impressed with Thea's mechanics or her velocity. We haven't quite figured it out yet but we may have a southpaw on our hands.

Big Kid

Thea is transitioning into the toddler room this week at school. Typically they move over at 18 months, but our little busy body is bored as hell. We think this is where the biting might be coming from! Today was her first morning and she got to fly a kite and thought it was pretty cool, so I am told. I imagine it was a lot of staring up at the sky, pointing and saying "dat". (we've moved on from "duh", try to keep up people). Most likely that lasted all of 3 minutes and then she was off to destroy something. Or maybe she just saves that for our house. Anyway, hard to believe she is growing up so fast!

William Ryan Belton

Jeff and Beth had their baby boy on Thursday night at 9:12pm. Will weighed 7lbs 5oz just like his cousin Thea. He has a little bit of hair and it's a light strawberry blonde. Not sure who he looks like yet, maybe a little more like Beth. He sure is a cutie! Carter isn't sure what to think yet, but by the end of this week it might be more of a reality. Being the irresponsible aunt and uncle that we are....we forgot our camera BOTH times we went to the hospital. I will get some pictures from Beth and post soon.
