Will's Baptism

Our nephew Will was baptized on Sunday. This gave Thea a chance to see her cousins and get some quality play time in.

Goodbye Mutt and Sasha

Matt and Tabitha (Sasha) had to go back to Chicago, or Coggo as Dika says. We all had a good time at the lake but it was time to get back home to reality.

A few new words from the Bird that need translation....

Mott = Matt
Sascha = Tabitha
Ca-go = where Mott and Sascha live - Chicago
Idy (aka Ivy) = what she called me all week instead of mommy...awesome
Gosh = Fish
Gosh = When she wants to watch Mickey Mouse, Goofy says Garsh.
Mermo = Little Mermaid
Coow = Cool
Carca = Carter
Carca = Cracker
Mutt = Milk
Icy - ice cube
Munnies = Bunnies
Bobby = blanket
Ut = out, down, or up

Nap time

By the time we got to the lake Grandpa and Matt both needed a nap. Dika, as always, resisted naptime.

J.B. turns 60!

Grandpa Melvin turned 60 this last week. As a surprise, Matt and Tabitha made a stealth journey from Chicago in time for the Royals game on Saturday. Needless to say J.B. was surpised by that and his awesome bobblehead doll. The Royals also won the game in the bottom of the ninth with a walk-off homer from #9. Nobody messes with DeJesus!

One week!

Thea only a few hours old meeting Campbell for the first time. We think she is saying...."One week, I've been here one week baby...so let me tell you how this goes".

If only that were still that small and innocent...
