Thea's First Trip to the K

Thea got her first heaping spoonful of heartbreak that is the Kansas City Royals. That is, we took Thea to her first game at Kauffman Stadium. Zack the Legomaniac couldn't even stave off the futility on the diamond by the Boys in Blue but Deeks had a great time nevertheless. She was more interested in the Crown Vision than the game itself. I guess that's why they built it.

Mulan

Thea's new outfit makes her look like Mulan. She thinks so anyway.

Big Girl Bed

Now that Thea has decided that sleep is optional again we've pulled the trigger and got her big girl bed set up. She's very into the idea of the bed, just not the sleeping part. Lulu also had to get up and inspect her new place to nap.

Field Trip Wednesdays

Since moving into her new classroom, Thea is now participating in field trips every Wednesday. She's gone to the Zoo and the Penguin Park so far. She also gets to wear her Union Hill tee that's a little too big for her...funny.

We took some family pictures a couple of weeks ago and decided to get some of our own in the yard before Thea decided it was time to get pigpen filthy.

Bedtime with Papa

Thea has not been the best at wanting to go to bed for the last couple of weeks. She's exploring her independence (that's what her teacher tells us.). Because of her newly found independence, visits from Grandpa Melvin are greatly appreciated as she prefers him for reading bedtime stories.
