Sorry it's been so long since our last post.....

We've a crazy few weeks this August. Marc and I took a 5 day getaway to Vail during the first part of the month. Sadly, Marc's grandma Shea in Albuquerque passed away so last Tuesday we hopped in the car for a little 14 hour drive to NM. My mom stayed with Thea until we got back late on Thursday night. Even more bad news arrived last night when Marc's greatgrandmother passed away. She was 98 and the mother to the grandma that passed away last week. We are heading to Salina on Friday for the funeral. The second one in a week....what are the odds.

Oh, and in the midst of all it my lifeline and addiction died (my blackberry, yes I am being overdramatic, but I love it) so I was without a phone for over a week. That is, of course, very insignificant comparatively speaking. So, really I am just kidding and trying to keep a good sense of humor. Anyway, we hope things will turn around for the better for the Melvin family next week. It's been a really tough few weeks for Michelle, so keep her and our family in your thoughts. She could use some good vibes. We'll post some pictures soon. Hopefully with some good news!
